Un PPJ est une enveloppe, sur laquelle on a appos\u00e9 un timbre (ou une s\u00e9rie de timbres), qui est oblit\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 la date de l\u2019\u00e9mission de ce timbre.<\/strong> L\u2019important, c\u2019est que la date d\u2019oblit\u00e9ration soit identique \u00e0 la date d\u2019\u00e9mission du timbre.<\/p>\n

Supposons donc que, vous avez achet\u00e9 le timbre du Canada \u00ab\u2009Tarte au Sucre\u2009\u00bb (#3177a) le jour de son \u00e9mission (17\u00a0avril 2019) et que vous avez affranchi votre enveloppe avec. Par la suite, vous l\u2019avez apport\u00e9 au bureau de poste pour \u00eatre oblit\u00e9r\u00e9 et envoy\u00e9 au destinataire. Voil\u00e0\u2009! Vous avez cr\u00e9\u00e9 votre propre PPJ original. Ce mot fran\u00e7ais qui traduit par \u00ab\u2009sceau\u2009\u00bb ou \u00ab\u2009\u00e9tampe\u2009\u00bb, d\u00e9crit toute inscription, design artistique ou graphique qui d\u00e9core un pli<\/strong>. Ils peuvent \u00eatre faits \u00e0 la main ou par imprimante, logiciel, etc.<\/p>\n

Avec la cr\u00e9ation de nouvelles technologies dans l\u2019imprimerie, de plus en plus ils furent fabriqu\u00e9s par machine. De nos jours, ils sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019ordinateurs et de logiciels pour artiste. La fabrication de cachet de poste a perdu son \u00ab\u2009cachet\u2009\u00bb avec le temps (LOL). Aujourd\u2019hui les PPJ officiels avec des cachets sont tous produits par Poste Canada. Mais je pense que ce serait un beau projet \u00e0 faire, surtout avec des enfants.<\/p>\n

Par exemple, vous vous souvenez du timbre Tarte au Sucre au d\u00e9but de cet article\u2009? Bien, si j\u2019avais \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u2009sur le piton\u2009\u00bb \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, j\u2019aurais pu cr\u00e9er un cachet de poste sur PPJ d\u00e9crivant la recette de tarte au sucre de ma belle-m\u00e8re (la meilleure recette au monde\u2009!). Lorsque le timbre en question fut \u00e9mis, je l\u2019aurais coll\u00e9 \u00e0 mon enveloppe et apport\u00e9 le tout au bureau de poste pour \u00eatre oblit\u00e9r\u00e9 le jour de son \u00e9mission. Enfin, le l\u2019aurais envoy\u00e9 \u00e0 ma belle-m\u00e8re. Elle aurait trouv\u00e9 \u00e7a g\u00e9nial\u2009!<\/p>\n

Quelle est la diff\u00e9rence entre un PPJ et un PPJ officiel\u2009? Bien, il n\u2019y a pas vraiment de diff\u00e9rence, je crois. En tout cas, ce n\u2019est pas coul\u00e9 dans le b\u00e9ton. Mais, comme nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 discut\u00e9, un PPJ peut \u00eatre fait par un individu. Un PPJ officiel est officiellement<\/strong> \u00e9mis par Poste Canada et il est d\u00e9j\u00e0 oblit\u00e9r\u00e9. Il a toujours un cachet de poste<\/strong>. Souvent, l\u2019oblit\u00e9ration \u00e0 une signification sp\u00e9ciale. Ces PPJ officiels sont fr\u00e9quemment oblit\u00e9r\u00e9s dans une ville qui \u00e0 un rapport avec le sujet du PPJ.<\/p>\n

Par exemple, le PPJ officiel pour l\u2019Histoire des Noirs \u00e9mis le 24\u00a0janvier 2020, fut oblit\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 Halifax puisque l\u2019illustration du cachet comm\u00e9more l\u2019\u00e9quipe de hockey \u00ab\u2009Halifax Eurekas\u2009\u00bb, une \u00e9quipe avec seulement des joueurs noirs qui existait au d\u00e9but du 19e\u00a0si\u00e8cle.
