Malheureusement, parfois des employ\u00e9s volaient des timbres pour leur usage personnel. Une fois perfor\u00e9s, ces timbres pouvaient seulement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s par la personne ou l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 qui appartenait l\u2019initiale ou le sigle.<\/p>\n<p>La Grande-Bretagne a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier pays \u00e0 employer des perfor\u00e9s, cependant, d\u2019autres pays ont rapidement adh\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e. Ces <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arpinphilately.com\/fr\/cat\/timbres-canada-o-officiels\">timbres dits \u00ab\u2009Officiels\u2009\u00bb<\/a> \u00e9taient perfor\u00e9s avec les initiales <strong>\u00ab\u2009OHMS\u2009\u00bb<\/strong> (On His Majesty\u2019s Service) et furent utilis\u00e9s de 1923-1963. La perforation des timbres prit fin en 1949 et fut remplac\u00e9e par la surimpression de ces m\u00eames initiales. Plusieurs philat\u00e9listes appr\u00e9cient ces timbres avec une grande valeur historique. Leur valeur mon\u00e9taire augmente selon la demande par les collectionneurs.
