Il y a plusieurs facteurs qui aident \u00e0 l’indentification d’un timbre : la mesure des perforations, la taille du timbre, la couleur, le papier, la fluorescence et la pr\u00e9sence de marques sp\u00e9ciales comme des filigranes. Deux outils de choix pour bien identifier ses timbres sont un identificateur de timbres-poste ou un catalogue de timbres-poste<\/a>. Si vous d\u00e9sirez vous procurer un identificateur de timbres<\/a>, je vous recommende le Postage Stamp Identifier de Unitrade<\/a>. C’est l’un des ouvrage le plus complet offert sur le march\u00e9.\u00a0Il est divis\u00e9 en 2 sections : 1-Inscriptions et surimpressions sur timbres, 2 – Liste alphab\u00e9tique de pays \u00e9metteurs de timbres. Si vous d\u00e9sirez plut\u00f4t un catalogue,\u00a0les plus connus sont le catalogue de timbres de poste en six volumes de Scott Standard et le catalogue sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 de Unitrade pour les timbres canadiens<\/a>.
